Diabetes : What is True & What is False ???

DIABETES FACTS
  • Diabetes is a chronic situation connected with unusually high levels of glucose (sugar) in the blood.
  • Insulin formed by the pancreas lowers blood sugar/glucose.
  • Lack or not enough creation of insulin cause diabetes.
  • There are two types of diabetes are referred to as type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes. Previous names for these positions were insulin-dependent and non-insulin-dependent diabetes, or juvenile onset and adult onset diabetes.
  • Symptoms of diabetes contain increased urine output, thirst/dehydration, hunger/starvation, and weakness or fatigue.
  • Diabetes is diagnosed by means of blood sugar (glucose) testing.
  • The main complications of diabetes are these both acute and chronic.
    • Acute complications: riskily prominent or high  blood sugar (hyperglycemia), abnormally or oddly  low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) due to diabetes medications may happen
    • Chronic complications: blood vessels diseases (both small and large) which can injure the nerves, kidneys, feet’s, eyes, and heart may happen
Diabetes Mellitus treatment depends on the kind and harshness of the diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is treated with exercise or keeps fit, diabetic diet and insulin. Type 2 diabetes is first treated with weight decrease, a diabetic diet, and an exercise. Elevated Blood Sugar when these actions fail to control, oral medication is used.  But if oral medications are at rest insufficient, insulin medications and other injects able medications are careful.
